OVERVIEW
M51 launched its concept for a new TV network for Millenials. My role was to bring life to the idea, by branding and building intuitive, consistent TV channels and excellent user experience through an easy navigation process.
Project Goals
DESIGN GUIDELINES
Television is a fundamentally different platform than computers or mobile devices. Therefore, it requires special considerations, including screen size and technical constraints and context of use.

Overscan
Screen size should consider overscan - adjusting the picture size to the various TV screen, which causes the edges of the picture are lost. It's essential to leave a 5% margin to define a generally safe area.
Distance Limits
Unlike other platforms, The average distance between a TV and its viewers is 3 meters.
Given this distance, UI's interfaces should be less crowded, and design elements should be more significant so they'll be readable from across the room
Clarify Navigation
Keep it simple and basic. Because Roku streaming devises relay on remote, navigation limited to four directions: up, down, left and right
Less is More
Frequent screen transitions can make users feel lost and make the application challenging to navigate.
Lack of cursor
feedback will allow the user effortlessly to identify the difference between the states. Users should always know where they are within the app.

We are building a house of brands. Each channel will have its own identity by reflecting the channel's spirit.

Each channel has its own experience based on its needs. At the same time, we are starting to build a style guide for all applications, linking them to the Swifti network.
